The theme for the Winter 2010 Atlanta Bridal Show is “Planning Your Wedding In Today’s Economy”. Attendees are able to attend seminars on the wedding planning experience. Brides-to-be may purchase tickets with any major credit card in advance, or $10 cash on the day of the event. A Show & Sun Dial package is available online only for $45 per person… The package includes brunch at the Sun Dial Restaurant (appetizer, entree, and beverage), admission to the show, and entry to all seminars. The thrill of being a part of a person’s “special day,” is the driving factor that has led Steve Moore down a career path of make-up, fashion and expert waxing.  Moore is proud to have worked for many of the industry’s leading beauty companies, but what he has to offer Atlanta is more than meets the eye.

Moore began his career 17 years ago as a fashion designer following training and recognition as top in his class at Bauder College in Atlanta.  Several wedding gowns later, Moore trained at both the Makeup-Artist Institute of California and at the Aveda School in Louisiana before working as an account manager, make-up artist and trainer for companies such as Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Shiseido, Iman and Aveda.

Moore joined the Van Michael Salon team in 1998, where he was an educator and platform artist.  During this time, his work was featured in ad campaigns and television specials including “Platinum Weddings”,” A Make-over Story”, “Faking It” both broadcast on the TLC channel, and “Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway” broadcast on the Style Channel. Other accolades include features in The Perfect Wedding Guide, Inside Weddings, Atlantan Bride, Atlanta Weddings, Allure, The Knot and Ebony Magazine. Runway work has included notables such as Anne Barge Bridal Collection for spring 2006, fall 2006, and spring 2007, as well as spring 2007 Badgley Mischka Bridal Collection. Some of his celebrity cliental includes First Lady Laura Bush, Holly Robinson-Peet, Patti LaBelle and Vivica A. Fox.
